Canadian citizens are exempt from the international student enrollment deposit.
As an incoming international student, you are required to submit a $500 deposit to complete your application and finalize your admission documentation. The deposit may be made online through your Student Status Page at www.ltu.edu/statuspage.
It will be held in your account until you enroll as a full-time student for the second semester, then it will be posted to your account to be used to pay tuition and fees. The deposit is non-refundable except in the case of two visa denials.
Your enrollment deposit and all documentation needed to issue an I-20 must be submitted 60 days before the deposit deadline for the semester.
The deposit is non-refundable except in the case of two visa denials. In order to receive the refund, the most recent visa appointment must be within the last six months.
