Hawthorne
East Residence Hall Coordinator

Hello! I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI and went to college at Concordia University Chicago (CUC). I graduated from CUC with my bachelors in Business Management. After graduating I began working as a Resident Counselor at the Illinois Math and Science Academy (IMSA). After a few years at IMSA, I returned to Ann Arbor to begin work as the Student Events Coordinator at Concordia University Ann Arbor (CUAA). Although I am now at LTU, I will graduate from CUAA with my masters in Higher Education in May 2025!

I am passionate about establishing communities where students can feel supported, welcomed, and safe. Strong communities allow students to be and do their best, and I am excited to continue this community-building work at LTU!

  • Do not use phone audio option to avoid feedback
  • Select “share content” and “screen” to share your cell phone’s screen in your Zoom session

To use your cell phone as a makeshift document camera

  • Open (swipe to switch apps) and select the camera app on your phone
  • Start in photo mode and aim the camera at whatever materials you would like to share
  • This is where you will have to position what you want to share to get the best view – but you will see ‘how you are doing’ in the main Zoom session.
