We are currently looking for Resident Assistants for the 2026-2027 academic year! All required forms and additional information regarding the application process are on this page. We strongly encourage applicants to speak to Financial Aid to determine how the RA position may impact scholarships.

ยป Job requirements

  • 30 credits completed by the time of employment (August 2026)
  • 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Maintain full time credit status – exceptions made for students in their last year of study
  • One year of on campus living preferred but not required
  • Must be in good conduct standing with the University

Just under 30 credits?  Currently a commuter?  Still apply!  We make exceptions.

Applicants must fill out and turn in all of the required documents below to be considered for the position.

  • Application Information Form
  • Up-to-date unofficial transcript
  • 2 Letters of recommendation
  • A letter to your future residents
  • A sample door decoration

All documents must be turned into the Housing Office in paper form by Monday, February 2nd, 2026 by 4:00 p.m.  Incomplete and/or late submissions will not be accepted.

Use Your Cell Phone as a Document Camera in Zoom

  • What you will need to have and do
  • Download the mobile Zoom app (either App Store or Google Play)
  • Have your phone plugged in
  • Set up video stand phone holder

From Computer

Log in and start your Zoom session with participants

From Phone

  • Start the Zoom session on your phone app (suggest setting your phone to โ€œDo not disturbโ€ since your phone screen will be seen in Zoom)
  • Type in the Meeting ID and Join
  • Do not use phone audio option to avoid feedback
  • Select โ€œshare contentโ€ and โ€œscreenโ€ to share your cell phoneโ€™s screen in your Zoom session
  • Select โ€œstart broadcastโ€ from Zoom app. The home screen of your cell phone is now being shared with your participants.

To use your cell phone as a makeshift document camera

  • Open (swipe to switch apps) and select the camera app on your phone
  • Start in photo mode and aim the camera at whatever materials you would like to share
  • This is where you will have to position what you want to share to get the best view โ€“ but you will see โ€˜how you are doingโ€™ in the main Zoom session.
