Sarah – Milan, Italy

In July, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Milan at NABA, where I took courses in Hand Illustration and Visual Design. One of the biggest highlights of my experience was learning how to navigate the city with ease and testing my independence in a completely new environment.

Beyond the incredible cultural experiences within Milan and throughout Europe, studying abroad pushed me to become more outspoken and take initiative in ways I hadn’t before. I was able to practice my Italian speaking skills, travel throughout Italy on my own, and most importantly, prove to myself what I am truly capable of achieving.

I highly recommend studying abroad to anyone who wants to discover who they are and what they can accomplish. It is an opportunity for those willing to take risks, step out of their comfort zone, and see just how much they can grow.
