Fox Run Partnership Scholarship

Lawrence Technological University is engaging the Fox Run volunteers in education, training, and development for the Michigan talent pipeline. It is our goal to offer scholarship funding to attend Lawrence Tech, one of 13 private, technological, comprehensive, and doctoral universities in the country.

Undergraduate Scholarship

  • Scholarship Value is $18,000 per year. The deadline to apply is May 31.
  • This is a Stand Alone Scholarship, this will not be allowed to be combined with any other merit, athletic or any other LTU scholarship
  • Must be a volunteer at Fox Run
  • Students are eligible to receive their full offered scholarship as long as they are registered for at least 15 credit hours in the fall semester and 15 credit hours in the spring semester. Students enrolled in 12 – 14 credit hours will receive a prorated scholarship. The remaining portion of the scholarship can be applied toward summer classes. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours to receive a portion of the scholarship.
  • Continued enrollment (no stop outs or scholarship is forfeited).
  • Summers not included.
  • Remain in good academic standing with no past due balances.
  • Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Valid 8 semesters or 4 years.

  • Must be a newly admitted first-year student at Lawrence Tech with around a 3.0 GPA
  • Must be a volunteer at Fox Run
  • Must continue enrollment (no stop outs)
  • This is a stand alone scholarship and cannot be combined with merit, athletic, or any other LTU scholarship

In order for this fund to disburse to a student account under the Fox Run Scholarship this completed form must be submitted two weeks before the beginning of the semester.

Use Your Cell Phone as a Document Camera in Zoom

  • What you will need to have and do
  • Download the mobile Zoom app (either App Store or Google Play)
  • Have your phone plugged in
  • Set up video stand phone holder

From Computer

Log in and start your Zoom session with participants

From Phone

  • Start the Zoom session on your phone app (suggest setting your phone to “Do not disturb” since your phone screen will be seen in Zoom)
  • Type in the Meeting ID and Join
  • Do not use phone audio option to avoid feedback
  • Select “share content” and “screen” to share your cell phone’s screen in your Zoom session
  • Select “start broadcast” from Zoom app. The home screen of your cell phone is now being shared with your participants.

To use your cell phone as a makeshift document camera

  • Open (swipe to switch apps) and select the camera app on your phone
  • Start in photo mode and aim the camera at whatever materials you would like to share
  • This is where you will have to position what you want to share to get the best view – but you will see ‘how you are doing’ in the main Zoom session.
