Industry Partnership Scholarship

Lawrence Technological University will offer an Industry Partnership Scholarship for employees and family members of pre-approved industry partners.

LTU will collaborate with pre-approved industries, agencies and companies to help employees and their immediate children/spouses/dependents.

This scholarship is for undergraduate as well as graduate students (Please review criteria below.)

Undergraduate Students

  • Scholarship Value $12,250.00 ($6,125 max per semester).
  • This is a Stand Alone Scholarship, this will not be allowed to be combined with any other merit, athletic or any other LTU scholarship
  • Must be employed by participating pre-approved partnership company or be a son/daughter (dependent) of someone employed with a partnership company (defined as a traditional-aged student within one year of high school graduation). Transfer students who are dependents of someone employed at a partnership company are approved on a one-to-one basis prior to enrollment.
  • Students are eligible to receive their full offered scholarship as long as they are registered for at least 15 credit hours in the fall semester and 15 credit hours in the spring semester. Students enrolled in 12 – 14 credit hours will receive a prorated scholarship. The remaining portion of the scholarship can be applied toward summer classes. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours to receive a portion of the scholarship.
  • Scholarship value is approximately 35% off tuition charge.
    • Continued enrollment (no stop outs or scholarship is forfeited).
    • Summers not included.
  • Remain in good academic standing with no past due balances.
  • Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Valid 8 semesters or 4 years.

Graduate Students

  • Must be directly employed by preapproved partnership company.
  • Dependents do not qualify for graduate portion of this scholarship.
  • Minimum of 3 credit hours to qualify.
  • Scholarship value is approximately  35% off tuition charge
    • 3-5 credit hours: $1,300 Scholarship
    • 6-8 credit Hours: $2,600 Scholarship
    • 9 or more credit Hours: $3,900 Scholarship
  • Remain in good academic standing with no past due balances.
  • Cannot be combined with any other university scholarships or grants.
  • Scholarship value is  approximately 35% off tuition charge.

Tuition Discount for Industry Partner Training Courses

On Campus or Online

This benefit will be extended to any company that wants LTU to develop courses for onsite training or bring existing courses, certificates, programs and/or a set of specific courses that will enhance development at the company.

LTU will work with the professionals at the company to develop the courses, service the students, evaluate their courses and provide support mechanism so the employees are successful and the company’s goals are met.

    • $490 per credit for undergraduate programs.
    • $612 per credit for graduate programs.

In order for this fund to disburse to a student account under the Industry Partner Scholarship this completed form must be submitted two weeks before the beginning of the semester.

Use Your Cell Phone as a Document Camera in Zoom

  • What you will need to have and do
  • Download the mobile Zoom app (either App Store or Google Play)
  • Have your phone plugged in
  • Set up video stand phone holder

From Computer

Log in and start your Zoom session with participants

From Phone

  • Start the Zoom session on your phone app (suggest setting your phone to “Do not disturb” since your phone screen will be seen in Zoom)
  • Type in the Meeting ID and Join
  • Do not use phone audio option to avoid feedback
  • Select “share content” and “screen” to share your cell phone’s screen in your Zoom session
  • Select “start broadcast” from Zoom app. The home screen of your cell phone is now being shared with your participants.

To use your cell phone as a makeshift document camera

  • Open (swipe to switch apps) and select the camera app on your phone
  • Start in photo mode and aim the camera at whatever materials you would like to share
  • This is where you will have to position what you want to share to get the best view – but you will see ‘how you are doing’ in the main Zoom session.
