Beginning Spring of 2025, Lawrence Technological University is offering a new benefit to our valued alumni.
To ensure that all LTU alumni stay connected to their alma mater and continue to have access to the skills and education necessary for personal and professional growth, no matter your career path.
Effective immediately, LTU alumni have the opportunity to take courses on an audit basis at a reduced rate of $400 per class. You may choose one undergraduate or graduate course per semester and will receive an “AU” for the audited course.
This benefit is worth $5200 for a 4-credit hour course and $4200 for a 3-credit hour course. We will continually find ways to support our alumni as they continue to grow their portfolio of skill sets for the future.
Auditing a Class
- A grade of “X” appears on your transcript. The transcript key description for a grade of “X” is audited course. No academic credit is issued for an audited course. A grade of "X" has no impact on the grade point average.
- Tuition and fee charges will be adjusted after the drop/add period ends to adjust charges to the $400 rate for the audited course.
- Students auditing a course can take quizzes and exams in the course but they are not required to take quizzes or exams.
- Attendance is optional to only include the topics of interest to you in the course.
