The Digital Electronics and Microprocessors laboratory offers students hands-on experience with designing, building and testing digital logic circuits, microprocessor-controlled systems, and embedded systems.

Students implement state machines using programmable logic devices (PLDs). Verilog Hardware Description Language (VHDL) is used to design computer hardware interfaces and related I/O circuitry.

Each station is equipped with test instruments including an oscilloscope, a DC power supply, a logic analyzer, and an analog-digital trainer. A wide variety of digital electronic components are available for students to use with their projects.
