In collaboration with Van Buren Township and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources
Green Horizon, a senior design civil engineering student project team, completed the design of a proposed facility to optimize Belleville Lake for recreational use. The proposed facility, Belleville Water Recreation Center, will provide the Van Buren Township community with classrooms for educational purposes, an indoor pool, intensive weight room, restaurant, campground and a rental area for kayaks, jet skis and tents.
