July 9, 2025

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 2, 2025Lawrence Technological University proudly congratulates alumnus and former College of Business Advisory Board member Jack Shubitowski on being named to Crain’s Detroit Business 2025 Notable Leaders in Finance list.

The Crain’s Notable Leaders in Finance list honors financial executives who are excelling in their fields, giving back through mentoring, civic engagement, and advancing equity within the industry, and who have demonstrated integrity and long-term impact on their organizations and communities.

Shubitowski, a respected financial executive with decades of industry experience, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance degree in 1986 from LTU’s College of Business and IT and has been an active supporter of the university’s mission to blend theory and practice in technology-infused business education. As a former advisory board member, he provided strategic insight and mentorship that helped shape the direction of LTU’s programs and student success initiatives.

“Jack Shubitowski represents the best of what LTU stands for — leadership, innovation, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference,” said Matthew Cole, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Business and IT. “His recognition by Crain’s is well-deserved and a reflection of his exceptional contributions to the financial sector and the broader community.”

LTU celebrates this honor as a testament to the excellence of its alumni and the strength of its business education programs in preparing graduates to lead in an ever-evolving global economy.
