Letter From the Dean

I am thrilled to share some exciting updates from the College of Health Sciences (CoHS) at Lawrence Technological University. Our programs continue to achieve exceptional outcomes, most notably in the area of certification exam performance. Our students consistently perform at national averages across multiple disciplines—a testament to the rigorous education, hands-on training, and outstanding faculty mentorship they receive here at LTU.

This success would not be possible without the remarkable generosity of our supporters. On this year’s LTU Giving Day, you came together to make an incredible impact—especially through your contributions to the CoHS Fund for Excellence. Thanks to your support, this fund continues to grow, enabling us to invest in cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art equipment that keep our programs at the forefront of health science education.

The Fund for Excellence plays a critical role in preparing our students to meet the demands of today’s healthcare landscape. From advanced simulation labs to specialized diagnostic tools, these resources enrich the learning environment and help us stay aligned with industry standards and innovations.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for supporting the future of healthcare. Your contributions make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and the communities they will serve.

Warm regards,

Mary Schutten, Ph.D.
