As we enter the spring term, I am pleased to share the continued momentum of Lawrence Technological University’s College of Health Sciences.
In just two years, our newest college has built a strong academic foundation with clear evidence of student success. Enrollment across all CoHS programs continues to exceed projections, and student success remains our highest priority. This growth is driven by the quality of our academic offerings, the unwavering devotion of our faculty and staff, and a student-centered culture that supports persistence and achievement.
Continuing our interdisciplinary nature, our Doctor of Health Sciences degree welcomes Jessi Hanson-DeFusco, assistant professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, who brings decades of international experience to prepare our students to lead meaningful change in the healthcare systems.
Our Physician Assistant program is preparing the next generation of clinician to address evolving healthcare needs. With new faculty expertise, emphasis on technology and evidence-based practice, and a mission rooted in compassionate care, the program equips students to confidently meet the complex needs of patients.
Academic support is embedded throughout CoHS, with personalized outreach led by Student Service Advisor Lisa Henry. Her work ensures students are supported from admission through graduation, strengthening both retention and success.
Thank you for being part of a college that is rapidly establishing excellence, impact, and building momentum.
