SOUTHFIELD—Lawrence Technological University will offer a 12-week Adobe Photoshop Certificate Preparation course this fall.
The course is part of LTU’s growing Professional Development Certificates program.
The classes will be offered Tuesdays from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 3 and concluding Dec. 19, via Zoom sessions with a trained instructor. Topics will include creating composites, understanding file types and color modes, creating images for print and web, creating animations, restoring and colorizing old images, and working in the design industry.Class size is limited to 15 new, current, or aspiring designers.
The cost of the training is $1,495 per person, with a discount price of $1,000 for LTU alumni, faculty, students, or staff. Students must have their own copy of Adobe Photoshop software and a computer that will run it.
At the conclusion of the course, students will be prepared to take the Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design Using Adobe Photoshop examination.
