SUMMARY:
A faculty member (Assistant Professor) will have the primary responsibility of assisting with the implementation, evaluation, and revision of the didactic and clinical curriculum. This individual will be responsible for presenting lectures and laboratory instruction, developing and grading examinations and assignments, and recruiting guest lecturers. They will also be actively involved with student advising and admissions, faculty meetings or committees, and scholarly activity.
JOB DUTIES:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from an accredited physician assistant, nurse practitioner or medical program. Master’s degree required. Doctoral degree encouraged.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

Individuals should also possess the ability to represent the school and university effectively in educational, governmental, business and alumni public forums. Individuals should possess knowledge of leadership concepts and applications, motivation concepts and applications, third-party contract negotiation and management, including development of requests for proposals and knowledge current with emerging trends in education.
