LETTER FROM THE DEAN

Building Momentum

As we enter the spring term, I am pleased to share the continued momentum of Lawrence Technological University’s College of Health Sciences.

In just two years, our newest college has built a strong academic foundation with clear evidence of student success. Our graduates are already making a difference in the field, including alumni like Nick Olsen NUR ’24, whose story reflects the purpose and impact of a CoHS education.

Student success remains our highest priority.

For the past two years, CoHS nursing graduates have surpassed national NCLEX pass rate benchmarks, posting results above 80 percent. These outcomes reflect the rigor of our programs, the commitment of our students, and the expertise and dedication of our faculty.

Enrollment across all CoHS programs continues to exceed projections.

This growth is driven by the quality of our academic offerings, the unwavering devotion of our faculty and staff, and a student-centered culture that supports persistence and achievement.

Academic support is embedded throughout CoHS, with personalized outreach led by Student Service Advisor Lisa Henry. Her work ensures students are supported from admission through graduation, strengthening both retention and success.

Thank you for being part of a college that is rapidly establishing excellence, impact, and building momentum.

James O’Neill, PhD
Interim Dean
