Assistant Professor
Dr. Maggie Zeng-Wang DNP, RN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience caring for patients across the lifespan in both inpatient and outpatient settings as an advanced practice provider. Her clinical expertise spans urgent care, geriatrics, internal and family medicine, pediatric specialty care, and telemedicine. She also served as a registered nurse in medical-surgical, pediatric, and emergency care settings.
In addition to her clinical work, she has extensive teaching experience, working with undergraduate and graduate nursing students as well as medical students during clinical rotations, prior to joining Lawrence Technological University. She currently teaches didactic and clinical courses in the Physician Assistant Studies program at Lawrence Technological University.
At LTU, Dr. Zeng-Wang focuses on preparing future healthcare professionals through an emphasis on clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and compassionate patient care. Her teaching philosophy highlights practical application, critical thinking, and professional development. She has published in peer-reviewed journals on quality improvement and evidence-based care. Her research integrates evidence-based practice and interprofessional collaboration to enhance patient-centered outcomes and teamwork across healthcare disciplines, with a focus on innovative physician assistant education.
