Assistant Professor
Dr. Maggie Zeng-Wang is a board-certified nurse practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience caring for patients across the lifespan in various in-patient and out-patient settings including urgent care, geriatrics/internal/family medicine, pediatric specialty care, telemedicine, etc. She had also worked as a RN in med-surg, pediatrics, emergency room, etc. Alongside her clinical work, she is passionate about bridging clinical expertise with education and has taught learners at multiple levels, including nursing students at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and medical students during their clinical rotations. Currently, she teaches physician assistant students at Lawrence Technological University.
At LTU, Dr. Zeng-Wang is committed to preparing future healthcare professionals with a strong foundation in clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and compassionate patient care. Her teaching emphasizes practical application, critical thinking, and professional growth.
In addition to teaching, Dr. Zeng-Wang has published in peer-reviewed journals on topics related to quality improvement and evidence-based patient care. Her current research focuses on interprofessional collaboration, with interest in advancing patient-centered care and strengthening teamwork across healthcare disciplines.
Outside of academia, she enjoys traveling—especially road trips and national parks—photography, and exploring emerging technology.
