Villeneuve is a professor of chemistry in the Department of Natural Sciences where she teaches the analytical and environmental chemistry courses. She has been teaching at LTU since 1991 as an adjunct or full-time faculty member.
Villeneuve received her Ph.D. in 1995 from Wayne State University in Analytical Chemistry with a minor in Hazardous Waste Management. After completing her Ph.D., she went to work for BASF Corporation where she was involved in Industrial Hygiene and Safety Management until joining the Lawrence Tech community full-time in 2001.
