Dalia Tawadrous is a talented interior designer and an adjunct professor who has received a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture and Fine Arts in 2001, and has been working in the industry since then.

Dalia is a passionate interior designer who is always perusing knowledge and personal growth. Alongside her remarkable achievements, Dalia holds prestigious certifications as a certified interior designer with NCIDQ and CCIDC, solidifying her expertise and commitment to excellence. As a member of Interior Designers Canada (IDC) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), Dalia actively engages with a vibrant community of industry professionals, constantly seeking inspiration and staying at the forefront of design trends.

Driven by her insatiable thirst for learning, Dalia continuously seeks opportunities to expand her skillset and stay ahead of the curve. Her dedication to professional development has earned her recognition as a lifelong learner, eager to embrace new techniques, technologies, and approaches within the dynamic field of interior design.

When she’s not immersed in the world of design, Dalia can be found sharing her expertise and experiences with budding designers, inspiring them to reach new heights. As an advocate for education, she takes great pride in helping her students discover their own creative potential and supporting them on their journey to success.

Having lived and worked in the interior design field in four different countries, Dalia’s global adventures have gifted her with a profound understanding of the rich tapestry of backgrounds and cultures that shape our world.

Use Your Cell Phone as a Document Camera in Zoom

  • What you will need to have and do
  • Download the mobile Zoom app (either App Store or Google Play)
  • Have your phone plugged in
  • Set up video stand phone holder

From Computer

Log in and start your Zoom session with participants

From Phone

  • Start the Zoom session on your phone app (suggest setting your phone to “Do not disturb” since your phone screen will be seen in Zoom)
  • Type in the Meeting ID and Join
  • Do not use phone audio option to avoid feedback
  • Select “share content” and “screen” to share your cell phone’s screen in your Zoom session
  • Select “start broadcast” from Zoom app. The home screen of your cell phone is now being shared with your participants.

To use your cell phone as a makeshift document camera

  • Open (swipe to switch apps) and select the camera app on your phone
  • Start in photo mode and aim the camera at whatever materials you would like to share
  • This is where you will have to position what you want to share to get the best view – but you will see ‘how you are doing’ in the main Zoom session.
