Prof. Samsur Rahman has served as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Math and Computer Science Department at Lawrence Technological University since 2022.
Teaching Experience
Since 2011, Prof. Rahman has also taught at several other universities in Michigan, including the University of Michigan (Dearborn and Flint), Wayne State University, Oakland University, Eastern Michigan University, and Oakland Community College.
He has instructed many programming courses, including C, C++, Java, Python, C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, Assembly, HTML5, CSS3, Perl, PHP, and MATLAB. Additionally, he has taught subjects beyond programming and scripting, including Android App Development, Data Analytics, CSC Arch. & Org., Web Usability, Ethics in CSC, Discrete Mathematics, Web Designing, and Networking.
Education and Research
Prof. Rahman holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. He earned his M.S. Degree and pursued Ph.D. studies (ABD) in Computer Science at Wayne State University in Michigan, focusing on research and development in Semantic Web Services.
Other Involvement
Beyond academia, he serves on the board of directors of an academic foundation overseeing various projects, including a registered private elementary school.
