Adjunct Faculty
A clinical psychology doctoral trainee with specialized training in working with sexual assault and domestic violence survivors and specialized education in forensic psychology. Her clinical work spans community mental health, hospitals, and private practice, where she provides therapy and conducts psychological and neurocognitive assessments with children, adolescents, and adults.
Alizay teaches a range of psychology courses, including Introduction to Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Forensic/Correctional Psychology. She is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment and emphasizes real-world application, cultural humility, and critical thinking in her teaching. Her professional interests include trauma, domestic violence, Islamic and multicultural psychology, media psychology, and the intersection of psychology and the legal system.
