Jerdine

Dean of Students

Professional Background

Jerdine serves as the Dean of Students at Lawrence Technological University, where she leads with a commitment to student advocacy, holistic development, and the cultivation of a vibrant campus culture. Her passion for working with students began at the University of Detroit Mercy, in which she is a proud alumnus.

With nearly two decades of leadership in Student Affairs at LTU, Jerdine has seen the campus grow into a thriving residential campus, including the return of varsity athletics. Through her work in University Housing and Student Life, she was able to recreate genuine connections with students in which she continues as the dean.

A hallmark of her tenure was the 2013 founding of the Women’s History Month programming at LTU. This initiative was born from a desire to celebrate the achievements of female students and ensure their contributions are recognized as a core part of the university.

The impact of Jerdine’s leadership has been recognized by colleagues and students alike. In 2018, she was named as the Marburger Administrator of the Year. This award serves as a testament to Jerdine’s collaborative spirit and her tireless work in enhancing not only the student experience but the Blue Devil community as whole.
