An employee of the University since 2001, Prof. Hobart has taught a variety of Composition courses and Leadership courses. She has held several administrative positions, including coordinator of First Year Programs and director of the Academic Achievement Center. Since 2015, she has been the director of the Writing Proficiency Program, where she coordinated the Writing Proficiency Exam. She is also a faculty writing tutor in the Horldt Family Writing Center. She lives for the moments when students learn something new about writing and formatting papers and gain confidence in their ability to express themselves in writing.
