Kendra
Hawkins
Clinical Education Assistant, Physician Assistant Program

My name is Kendra Hawkins and I am the Clinical Education Assistant for the PA department and very happy to be here. I look forward to getting to know everyone here and learning more about each of you.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Michigan. I am the proud mother of 3 amazing children ages 22, 21 and 18. I am a Flint, Michigan native and just recently moved to the area so I am still adjusting but it has been great so far. I come to you with a background in Public Health, Healthcare Administration and Nursing. I am very excited to learn all I can about the PA program. I am very student focused and centered and I always work hard to be an asset to all of those I work with. Thank you all for the warm welcome and feel free to stop by my office and say hello.

  • Type in the Meeting ID and Join
  • Do not use phone audio option to avoid feedback
  • Select “share content” and “screen” to share your cell phone’s screen in your Zoom session

To use your cell phone as a makeshift document camera

  • Open (swipe to switch apps) and select the camera app on your phone
  • Start in photo mode and aim the camera at whatever materials you would like to share
  • This is where you will have to position what you want to share to get the best view – but you will see ‘how you are doing’ in the main Zoom session.
