Professional Background

Duane C. Harris received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Arizona State University in 2018 and his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Arizona State University in 2023. Before joining Lawrence Technological University, he was a postdoctoral research associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he worked in the Theoretical Biology and Biophysics group.

His research focuses on the development and analysis of partial differential equation models to study biological systems. He is particularly interested in how spatial structure, diffusion, and nonlinear interactions influence population and disease dynamics. His recent work includes reaction–diffusion models describing tumor invasion and ecological pattern formation, as well as studies of parameter sensitivity and stability in models of glioblastoma growth.

Use Your Cell Phone as a Document Camera in Zoom

  • What you will need to have and do
  • Download the mobile Zoom app (either App Store or Google Play)
  • Have your phone plugged in
