Director of External Academic Initiatives
Elizabeth Dizik is the Director of External Academic Initiatives. With nearly 20 years of experience in higher education, Elizabeth is a creative professional dedicated to fostering partnerships that support academic programs and strengthen community engagement. Before joining CoAD, she worked as the Alumni Relations and Recruitment Manager at Cranbrook Academy of Art, and most recently as the External Engagement Manager at the University of Michigan’s Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design. Elizabeth holds an MFA in Metalsmithing from Cranbrook Academy of Art, a BFA from the University of Michigan, and a BA in Jewellery Design from Central Saint Martins. She maintains a studio practice at her home in Lathrup Village, where she lives with her husband, two young sons, and a beagle.
