Michael DiPonio is a 20+ year veteran of the game industry, having spent a decade developing racing simulation software for F1 and NASCAR, as well as co-creating the rFactor simulation platform.
Transitioning to the finance industry in 2009, he proposed, assembled, and led a full-time internal game development team at America’s largest mortgage lender, which included partnerships with Marvel, Disney, and Snapchat along the way. He currently leads the Instructional Design team at AmeriSave Mortgage, and in 2020, established his own game development company, Ninja Penguin Interactive, to continue his work in the serious games and entertainment spaces.
Michael has been a multi-year presenter at the Serious Play Conference, and serves as member of the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge held yearly at I/ITSEC in Orlando, Florida.
