Ludger Brinker (A.M. in English from Clark University, M.A. in English and Geography from the University of Freiburg, and Ph.D. in English from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst) has been teaching full-time at Macomb Community College since 1991. He also teaches graduate courses in American literature at Wayne State University. He lives in Detroit and in his spare time collects art that reflect the industrial and urban environment of southeastern Michigan.
