Assistant Athletic Director for Student Athlete Welfare and Development
In her role, she works closely with student-athletes to support their academic success and overall development. She meets weekly with student-athletes who are experiencing academic challenges, serving as a resource to help identify areas of difficulty and provide strategies for improvement. She also assists in navigating communication with faculty when needed, ensuring student-athletes feel supported both in and out of the classroom. In addition, she conducts regular grade checks, oversees study hall requirements as the administrator for SALT, and serves in a game-day administrative role. She is committed to building strong relationships across campus to better support student-athlete success.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine from Eastern Michigan University and a master’s degree in sports administration from Wayne State University.
Outside of her work on campus, she enjoys spending time gardening, traveling and exploring new destinations. She also enjoys trying new restaurants throughout the greater Detroit area.
