Associate Professor
Oriehi (Destiny) Anyaiwe, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Lawrence Technological University. He has extensive experience in designing and implementing evidence-based STEM interventions, including course-based research experiences and structured mentoring programs aimed at improving retention, academic self-efficacy, and workforce readiness among underrepresented and low-income students. He has been involved in academia since 2002, teaching courses in both mathematics and computer science across institutions in Nigeria and the United States. Dr. Anyaiwe has contributed to NSF-related proposal development and assessment planning, integrating storytelling, cohort-based mentoring, and experiential learning to strengthen student persistence in STEM fields
He has taught courses including Programming in C++, Data Science, Data Structures and Algorithms,Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning and Microservices in the Cloud, Database Management Systems, Software Engineering, Principles of Bioinformatics, and Graph Theory and its Applications.
