Assistant Professor, Mechanical Systems
Undergraduate Program Coordinator
Nuha Aljuneidi, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Systems and Undergraduate Program Coordinator in the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at Lawrence Technological University (LTU). She has a mechanical engineering background with expertise in building mechanical systems, energy efficiency, and thermal sciences. Her research and technical experience include phase change material (PCM) based thermal energy storage, combining computational modeling (including CFD and high performance computing) with hands-on experimental work and validation. She also develops and applies data driven methods using Python, artificial intelligence, and machine learning (AI/ML) to support building energy analytics, performance assessment, fault detection, and system optimization. She is a member of ASHRAE and ASME.
