Associate Department Chair and Assistant Professor
Hamad Al-Azary, Ph.D., is an Associate Department Chair and Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Communication at Lawrence Technological University. His work focuses on the psychology and neuroscience of language and cognition, with an emphasis on metaphor, abstraction, and conceptual representation. He uses experimental, neuropsychological, and computational techniques.
Prior to joining LTU, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Alberta. His research has been published in psychology and linguistics journals and presented at international conferences.
