The curriculum aligns with the Master's degree level standard of Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) Qualifications Framework. Lawrence Technological University's Master's of Cardiovascular Perfusion program was granted initial accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) on March 15, 2024. This program also provides the appropriate depth and breadth of knowledge, applied, specialized preparation in critical thinking and scholarly research, problem-solving and analysis, communications, leadership, professional capacity, and autonomy in the field of cardiovascular perfusion. As an accredited program, students will be eligible to write their board exams through the ABCP allowing licensure and work eligibility nationwide (with the exception of the state of Nevada, which requires additional licensure). As a part of the NC-Sara Reciprocity agreement, Lawrence Technological University is required to disclose publicly, the educational requirements for professions that require a license or certification to practice in that field*.
