For Thursday 02/06/25, the campus will be closed until 12 noon today due to the severe weather. All classes scheduled after 12 noon will take place as scheduled. Students should check Canvas for details on classes.
Zoom is a web conferencing tool that is available to EVERYONE AT LTU (faculty, students, and staff).
Your account will be upgraded to the licensed version 24 hours after your first login.

Before using Zoom you will need to install the client/application to your computer or smart device.
Go to zoom.us from any browser.
You’ll be directed to the Download Center.
Under Zoom Client for Meetings click the Download button.
Once the file has downloaded open it and walk through the install process.
Log in to Canvas and go to any of your courses where you are going to set up a meeting.
When the new page opens click the Download Now under launch meeting.
The Zoom Installer package will be saved to your downloads.
It may also appear at the bottom of your browser, if it does once it is completed downloading you can click it to begin the installation process.
Note: The following screenshots are from an iOS platform, but the instructions are identical regardless of iOS/Android operating systems.
From the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, download the Zoom client to your device.
Once the download has completed, you may access the app and sign-in through Google.
