eHelp Zoom - Delete Recording
Zoom's cloud storage is not unlimited! We as a University only have limited storage capacity that is being shared by the entire university. Below are the instructions needed to delete older semester recordings.
Log into Zoom.us and sign in from the portal (How to log into Zoom Desktop)
- Select Recordings from Menu on left
- Click on Cloud Recordings tab. You'll see every cloud recording you have.
- Select the Cloud recording to delete and to the very right click More
- From 'More' dropdown select Delete and confirm
The below message will appear asking to confirm the deletion of the recordings. Click Yes to proceed.
Do not forgot to empty the Trash to fully delete the recordings!
- Select Recordings from Menu on left
- Click on Cloud Recordings tab. You'll see every cloud recording you have.
- Select the checkbox next to the specific Cloud recording you want to delete
- Click Delete Selected (#) button
The below message will appear asking to confirm the deletion of the recordings. Click Yes to proceed.
Do not forgot to empty the Trash to fully delete the recordings!
- Select Recordings from Menu on left
- Click on Cloud Recordings tab. You'll see every cloud recording you have.
- Click Delete All
The below message will appear asking to confirm the deletion of the recordings. Click Delete All to proceed.
Do not forgot to empty the Trash to fully delete the recordings!
Emptying Trash
As soon as you send a recording to be delete is when the trash option will appear next to Delete All.
Click Trash (#)
Click Empty Trash to completely delete the recordings. Note: You may also Recover the recording if you did not mean to delete it.
