What is BannerWeb?

is a secure online system that provides access to academic/personal records and registration maintained by the University. What does that mean for LTU Students and Faculty?

 

For Students

Students can sign the online laptop agreement, check account balances, register for classes, review class schedules, or update their personal profiles through BannerWeb.

 

For Faculty

BannerWeb allows staff and faculty to research class listings, pay and benefits information, student information, update their personal profiles, and record hours worked or leave time.

Logging in to Bannerweb

Admitted Students and Alumni- 
Click “BannerWeb Login for Admitted Students and Alumni” 
Your BannerWeb ID will be your nine-digit Banner ID (including all zeros). Your initial BannerWeb PIN is your date of birth in MMDDYY format.

For example: 022890 You must change your PIN to another 6-digit (or more) number the first time you log into BannerWeb.

Current Students, Faculty, and Staff- 
Click “BannerWeb Login for Students, Faculty, and Staff” 
You will use your Canvas/Network username and password to login.

Access Banner 9 by using any browser (Chrome and Firefox will give the best performance). Go to http://my.ltu.edu and select BannerWeb box, then click Banner9 Admin Pages Login Faculty/Staff or go to https://banner.ltu.edu/ and select Banner 9 Admin Pages Login for Faculty and Staff.

Use Your Cell Phone as a Document Camera in Zoom

  • What you will need to have and do
  • Download the mobile Zoom app (either App Store or Google Play)
  • Have your phone plugged in
  • Set up video stand phone holder

From Computer

Log in and start your Zoom session with participants

From Phone

  • Start the Zoom session on your phone app (suggest setting your phone to “Do not disturb” since your phone screen will be seen in Zoom)
  • Type in the Meeting ID and Join
  • Do not use phone audio option to avoid feedback
  • Select “share content” and “screen” to share your cell phone’s screen in your Zoom session
  • Select “start broadcast” from Zoom app. The home screen of your cell phone is now being shared with your participants.

To use your cell phone as a makeshift document camera

  • Open (swipe to switch apps) and select the camera app on your phone
  • Start in photo mode and aim the camera at whatever materials you would like to share
  • This is where you will have to position what you want to share to get the best view – but you will see ‘how you are doing’ in the main Zoom session.
