Congratulations! Dean Daubmann Named to AIA College of Fellows

The American Institute of Architects has elevated CoAD Dean Karl Daubmann to its highest membership level, the prestigious College of Fellows.

The fellowship program was developed to elevate architects who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession and made a significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.

Less than three percent of those in the architecture profession achieve AIA Fellowship.

Richard Heist, Ph.D., vice president for academic affairs and provost, said, “Becoming a Fellow of most any nationally and internationally recognized professional/academic organization is a big deal, and Dean Daubmann is certainly deserving. On behalf of the LTU community, I congratulate Dean Daubmann for this high honor.”

Daubman said, “To be numbered among the top architects in the country is truly one of the greatest honors a professional architect can achieve. To be ranked with such talented and accomplished professionals is also humbling and gratifying.”

Daubmann will be honored at the Investiture and AIA Awards Gala on June 5th.
