Centrepolis, EGLE to hold webinar on clean energy projects in underserved communities

July 25, 2024

SOUTHFIELD—The Centrepolis Accelerator at Lawrence Technological University, in partnership with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, will hold a webinar July 31 on “Partnering with Underserved Communities on Clean Energy Projects and Manufacturing.”

According to Centrepolis Accelerator CEO Dan Radomski, the webinar “will provide insights into significant federal and local government programs aimed at supporting clean energy projects and manufacturing operations being developed in distressed and legacy-energy communities.”

Attendees will learn how to create ownership and value-added opportunities for the communities where they are planning clean energy projects, and how to partner for mutual benefit with disadvantaged communities, neighborhood organizations, economic development groups, and non-government organizations.

“Don’t miss this chance to make a meaningful impact and drive sustainable development in your community,” Radomski said.
