CoAD Portfolio Competition 2026

Due Date: January 15, 2026
Undergraduate students currently in the final year of LTU’s Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree program and entering LTU’s Master of Architecture program in the fall can submit their portfolio for a chance at a scholarship.

Construction Specifications Institute Scholarship

Due Date: January 15, 2026
The Metro Detroit Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), in partnership with Lawrence Technological University, is pleased to offer an annual scholarship open to all LTU students currently enrolled in the College of Architecture and Design.

Distinguished Architecture Alumni Scholarship

Due Date: January 15, 2026
The LTU Distinguished Architecture Alumni (DAA) Award recipients established an annual, merit-based scholarship to encourage highly accomplished LTU architecture students to remain/return to LTU to pursue/complete their graduate studies in architecture.

James Abernethy Scholarship

Due Date: January 15, 2026
The goal of this scholarship is to offer eligible students an opportunity to submit original work that showcases their knowledge of building enclosures. Students will also have the opportunity to expand their understanding of building enclosure design and network with construction professionals of all disciplines to build  relationships and support their future careers through continued engagement with BEC-GD.

SmithGroup Scholarship

Due Date: January 15, 2026
The SmithGroup scholarship fund was established to help improve diversity at CoAD and in the profession of architecture and will give preference to applicants who come from an educational, cultural or geographic background that is underrepresented in the profession in the United States.

Five Images Scholarship Award Program

Due Date: February 1, 2026
The program invites talented incoming architecture & design students to present five images of creative work that showcase past accomplishments, highlight current interests and describe future aspirations. The faculty invites works in a range of media, at varying scales, and with a variety of intentions.
