Reviving the Glamour of Air Travel

A criticism set on to happen in America over the next one hundred years; the worsening of America’s food insecurity this has put a stress on the rising obesity epidemic which is projected to coincide with a two-fold increase in commercial aircraft travel which will put stress on the limited weight capacity of current commercial aircrafts.

To mitigate these risks, commercial airlines will cause a reconfiguration. Consisting of a new efficient floor plan and a new sustainable material selection- so that passengers can safely meet requirements, codes and the process of reconstruction will not hopefully affect the environment strongly.

To reconstruct the way of traveling for a growing America, by taking the most common commercial aircraft used, Boeing 737 and recompose its design. After researching weight capacity and the dimensions of these aircrafts as well as the overarching compliments that make traveling hard, there is a need for a reconstruct of the floor plan that will maximize efficiency and privacy, as well as using sustainable materials to help with the overall effectiveness of this mission.
