WebsiteZach de Chazal is pursuing a bachelor's of science in Transportation Design. His interest in cars, sparked by his father at a young age, led him to begin detailing cars at 17. He acquired an associate's degree in digital sculpting before shifting his focus towards design in 2020.

DescriptionMy latest project, Chrysalis, is my vision for how heavy duty construction vehicles could evolve in the future. Designed for the Caterpillar brand, each of the three vehicles were inspired by real-world and theoretical future setbacks during the construction process, as these delays not only hamper progress currently in the year 2023, but will continue to in the future as technology, project scopes and global warming increases, while timeframes and labor forces simultaneously decrease.
