DescriptionNestled in the heart of Sault Ste. Marie, this innovative building design boasts a robust core that serves as the foundation for fostering vibrant community engagement. Strategically positioned along the I-75 Business Spur, it acts as a dynamic nexus connecting directly with the local community while commanding attention as a prominent landmark. A defining feature of this architectural marvel is its seamless integration of renewable energy technology. The photovoltaic (PV) array, meticulously aligned with the site's contours, not only lends aesthetic charm but also optimizes spatial efficiency, harnessing solar power to illuminate the building's eco-conscious ethos. Moreover, the design prioritizes immersive experiences, offering panoramic vistas of the picturesque riverfront from the tranquil confines of the natatorium. Here, visitors can bask in the serene beauty of nature, forging a deeper connection with the surrounding environment. Efficiency reigns supreme within the building's infrastructure, exemplified by the HVAC system meticulously engineered into seven zones. Each zone is seamlessly interconnected to the central system, ingeniously housed beneath the bustling atrium in the basement. This strategic layout not only ensures optimal climate control but also underscores the building's commitment to sustainable practices. In essence, this visionary architectural masterpiece transcends mere functionality, serving as a beacon of progress and community empowerment.
