Canadian citizens are exempt from the international student enrollment deposit.

As an incoming international student, you are required to submit a $500 deposit to complete your application and finalize your admission documentation. The deposit may be made online through your Student Status Page at www.ltu.edu/statuspage.

It will be held in your account until you enroll as a full-time student for the second semester, then it will be posted to your account to be used to pay tuition and fees. The deposit is non-refundable except in the case of two visa denials. In order to receive the refund, the most recent visa appointment must be within the last six months. 

Your enrollment deposit and all documentation needed to issue an I-20 must be submitted 60 days before the deposit deadline for the semester:

Summer 2024 – March 14, 2024     
Fall 2024 – June 27, 2024
