For students applying to take an on campus class with other LTU students.

High school juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply if they maintain a 3.0 high school GPA or higher. Students must meet course requirements in order to be admitted. Please review course offerings at the link provided under Course Offerings if you are not sure which class you want to take:

1. Submit LTU application - Spring 2025 (new application needed for each semester you attend)

2. Have high school send transcripts/SAT scores/AP scores via online transcript processor (such as Parchment) or email to specialadmit@ltu.edu

3. Send this high school supplemental form to your high school counselor to submit on your behalf. Once all documents have been received, your application will be reviewed and you will be emailed registration directions.

- On the search page, be sure to select "Southfield" under the "Campus" selection. Courses noted “Dual High School Campus” are not available for you to enroll in, they are offered at particular partnership high schools only. You should look for classes offered on our main campus or online.

- Common course subjects studied by dual enroll students are math (listed under Math/Computer Science) and English (listed under Communication)

- If you do not meet the course requirements, you are able to take a virtual placement exam for that subject (Math/English/Chemistry/Physics/Biology/Computer Programming). Email specialadmit@ltu.edu for more information before applying.

- Still don’t know which class to take? Email specialadmit@ltu.edu and include your anticipated college major.

- For general dual enrollment questions, please contact specialadmit@ltu.edu

- Courses are offered at a discounted rate of $500/course (number of credits does not matter)
