Undergraduates

  • These statements are estimates and may change or be cancelled if your enrollment status changes due to course load variations such as dropping/adding classes, switching academic programs, withdrawal, dismissal, graduation or outside scholarships

  • You must make Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to continue receiving federal aid. This means you must maintain a 2.0 GPA as an undergraduate or a 2.75 as a graduate student and achieve course completion rate of 67%

  • Federal Work Study reflects a student’s potential earnings if offered an on campus job

  • All LTU Scholarships require you to maintain a certain GPA, which varies depending on the scholarship; this GPA is indicated on your scholarship offer letter. Visit: https://www.ltu.edu/financial_aid/scholarshippolicy for more information

  • Federal Pell Grant & Student Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans have limits, visit: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/types

The Nelnet Monthly Payment Plan is a interest-free monthly payment plan. Your only cost is an annual enrollment fee. Because this is not a loan everyone qualifies. Enrollment is fast and easy. Please note: if you are interested in using this payment plan you must be signed up before classes start in the semester you are being billed for.

Terms parents and student should know

Expected family contribution (EFC): The amount that the federal government estimates you are able to afford to contribute to educational expenses based on your FAFSA information. What you actually pay toward educational expenses may be more or less than this amount.

Institutional aid: The Scholarships, grants and other financial aid programs provided by LTU. LTU allows (2) scholarships per our scholarship policy

Verification: The process of making sure the information submitted on the FAFSA is correct. The federal government requires colleges to have certain students’ FAFSA information verified.

Use Your Cell Phone as a Document Camera in Zoom

  • What you will need to have and do
  • Download the mobile Zoom app (either App Store or Google Play)
  • Have your phone plugged in
  • Set up video stand phone holder

From Computer

Log in and start your Zoom session with participants

From Phone

  • Start the Zoom session on your phone app (suggest setting your phone to “Do not disturb” since your phone screen will be seen in Zoom)
  • Type in the Meeting ID and Join
  • Do not use phone audio option to avoid feedback
  • Select “share content” and “screen” to share your cell phone’s screen in your Zoom session
  • Select “start broadcast” from Zoom app. The home screen of your cell phone is now being shared with your participants.

To use your cell phone as a makeshift document camera

  • Open (swipe to switch apps) and select the camera app on your phone
  • Start in photo mode and aim the camera at whatever materials you would like to share
  • This is where you will have to position what you want to share to get the best view – but you will see ‘how you are doing’ in the main Zoom session.
