LTU in Southfield Day – Grand Opening of the New LTU Softball Field!

The City of Southfield, in partnership with Lawrence Technological University (LTU), is excited to announce the grand opening ceremony for significant upgrades to the Southfield Municipal Campus Softball Field, which will become the home of LTU’s Women’s Softball Team!

The grand opening ceremony will be held in conjunction with LTU in Southfield Day and Southfield Eat to the Beat, bringing together the LTU and Southfield communities for a day celebrating partnership, community, arts, culture, food, and connection.

Following the ceremony, the celebration will continue as the LTU Marching Band leads guests to the front lawn of the Municipal Campus for the Eat to the Beat lunchtime event, taking place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We invite you to stay and enjoy music, games, food trucks, and more!

This celebration highlights the ongoing partnership between the City of Southfield and LTU and our shared commitment to enhancing recreational opportunities and strengthening connections within the community.
