DETROIT INSTITUE OF TECHNOLOGY (D.I.T.)

Lawrence Technological University was issued custody of the academic records of the Detroit Institute of Technology by the Michigan Department of Education. As a result, requests for official transcripts for students of Detroit Institute of Technology should be made to Lawrence Technological University.

Official transcripts are available, upon written request from the student, and payment of a $5.00 transcript-processing fee per copy. The written request may be submitted via fax, mail, email attachment, or in person. Transcripts are available within 5 business days from the date received. Any transcripts issued to students will be marked "Issued to Student." For most colleges and universities to consider a transcript official, they require that the transcript be sent directly from the issuing institution. If you submit a transcript marked "Issued to Student," there is a chance that the receiving institution may not accept the transcript as official.
