VPN Tunnel Access

You can use your laptop or desktop to connect to Lawrence Tech’s network resources from off campus by using the Lawrence Tech VPN (Virtual Private Network) Service. Lawrence Tech’s VPN service allows University faculty, staff and students to securely “tunnel” in and access network resources as if they were on campus.

 

Connection Directions

Please follow the directions below to connect to the tunnel when you are off campus:

  1. Click the Start button, search for Cisco and open the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client (if neccessary, download the client below).
  2. Once it is open, make sure "tunnel.ltu.edu" is entered in the white box and click Connect.
  3. You will be prompted for your network credentials - this is the same username/password you use to log into your LTU computer.
  4. You should now be connected to the VPN tunnel.
