Component 3 -- Recovery Starts Here Career Receptions and Workshops

Receptions

Lawrence Technological University has planned four Career Networking Receptions for displaced workers with college degrees, not limited only to Lawrence Tech students and alumni, beginning on campus. The upcoming reception will occur January 28, 2010. All are designed to provide employers and job-seekers with a face-to-face experience in a professional and personal environment.

Although it is easy to presume that job opportunities are scant, many companies and industries today need talented and experienced people to contribute to and lead their organizations. Career fields generating job opportunities across Michigan include energy, life sciences, homeland security and defense, and advanced manufacturing.
