Building Collaborations

We cannot be true to our motto of “theory and practice” without your help! Our faculty members are always looking for ways to transfer academic theory to the "real world." For example, Daimler-Chrysler has invited out Operations Management faculty and students to visit an assembly plant to see how theory is converted to practice. This type of experience is invaluable to LTU students. Lawrence Tech’s motto of “theory and practice” emphasizes our belief that students cannot be successful in the workplace if they only learn academic theory. For this reason we only hire faculty member who are both academically credentialed and who have industry experience. If you are a doctorally qualified industry professional who has a passion to share your knowledge with others, we would like to discuss the potential for you to be a guest speaker, an adjunct faculty member, or even a full-time faculty member at Lawrence Technological University.
