Best Practices from the Best Managed Nonprofits Seminar
SURVIVING THE ECONOMIC TSUNAMI

 

On Monday, March 9, 2009 the College of Management's Center for Nonprofit Management held  the annual seminar, Best Practices of Best Managed Nonprofits.  It featured Funders and Nonprofit Experts, Nonprofit Leaders from Crain's Detroit Business' Best-Managed Non-Profits Contest, Nonprofit Leaders from DTE Energy Foundation's Achieving Excellence Award and Facilitated Table Discussions  The seminar was presented by AFP - Greater Detroit Chapter, Detroit Executive Service Corps (DESC), and Center for Nonprofit Management at Lawrence Technological University  

Rip Rapson, President of the Kresge Foundation, provided keynote remarks at the annual seminar, Best Practices of the Best Managed Nonprofit. "During the Economic Crisis Philanthropy Can Make a Distinct Contribution to the Welfare of Communities" says Kresge President.
